As decided by the UNWTO General Assembly, the World Tourism Day
2017 Official Celebration will be held in Doha, Qatar, under the theme “Sustainable Tourism – a Tool for Development”, in the framework of the International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development 2017.

Omar, the director of Visit Mogadishu was invited and participated, He had great time with UNWTO general secretary Taleb Refai, and discussed about Somalia tourism restore, as 2017 Somalia officially restored its membership of UNWTO.
